Below are the booking terms the site uses, then issues found in the supplied text. Full list in OPEN-QUESTIONS.md.
Booking terms
- An account is optional. Guests can book with just an email address, or create an account to see their booking history and leave reviews.
- A US$70 security deposit is collected with payment. After a successful checkout it is refunded to the card or payment channel the guest paid with.
- Trained pets: US$125 for one, US$200 for two or more.
- Optional cancellation protection costs US$24.99. With it, there is no cancellation fee. Without it, a US$60 fee applies unless the reason qualifies.
- Payments are processed by Stripe and charged in US dollars.
Issues to resolve in the supplied text
- Section 4.3 waives statutory rights and mentions "federal" law. Needs review under Ghanaian law.
- Template leftovers: "Host Services", "Section 13", "Rebooking and Refund Policy" and "Content Policy" are referenced but never defined.
- Sections 3.1 and 5.1 both cover cancellation with different wording.
- "Guest Reservation Insurance" may need a new name unless it is a licensed insurance product.
- The privacy policy text stops partway through.
- Section 2.1 requires every guest to hold an account. The owner has since made accounts optional, so 2.1 needs rewording.
